Affirmations

	Since the late 1980's Gifts of the Spirit Church taught affirmations, self-empowing prayers, as a way for a person to create change in one's life. The philosophy is that the light field around your body, the aura, that emanates from your soul, is the Lord of your being, The soul iitself, is the God of your beiing. When you address the Lord God of your being you are speaking to your soul and its auric field. Your soul will respond to your commands, and therefore, will bring the changes into your life for which you ask.

	It is important, however, to say these affirmation aloud, with feeling and emotion. This empowers the thought, and draws the attention of your soul to listen and carry out your command.

	The following are affirmations, which Gifts of the Spirit Church distributed over the years. Some of them are in the original format. Please download and use them to manifest change in your life.
