Rev. Sidney Schwartz |
I am deeply saddened to inform you, that our long-time church member, Fenton Henricksen transitioned to the Spirit World on December 2, 2022. Fenton began attending Gifts of the Spirit Church in September 2006, when I reopened the Church. Fenton was one of GOTSC’s strongest supporters. During our services in the Chesterfield Firehouse, Salem Public Library, and then Niantic Sleep Inn, Fenton’s inquisitive mind sparked challenging questions to initiate many in-depth conversations exploring the topic being discussed.
Fenton missed our Service on Saturday, and then did not respond to emails. I called his place of employment, and learned he died suddenly and most unexpectedly on December 2, 2022.
Fenton, thank you for being a good friend to me, and so many church members. I will miss him very much. |

He will certainly be missed in our physical presence. it makes me realize how very precious our association is here in the physical. It’s so … how can i say it… meaningful - is the best word that comes to mind - that we are connected and support each other, even at a distance, here in the physical. We now have another great friend in spirit, who, I’m sure will continue to join our sessions on occasion. |

I'm heart broken. He was so friendly and inviting to me when I started attending your services at the library. Well,
I guess, hopefully, he'll get answers to all the questions he was asking. Maybe he'll still attend our monthly services. |

Thank You for this Beautiful "Memorial" for Fenton. This touches me unexpectedly deeply... his Presence and Sweet Support and Unique Way of him.... will be missed so very much. Thank You for "investigating" and relaying what has happened. He is so special, dear, and I know there is no death.... I'm sure he will be lovingly participating in whatever he wishes from the other side. Blessings to him on his new Journey - and again, THANKS SO MUCH SID! It's funny, as a "student of Spirit", when he didn't connect with Carol for questions and didn't show up for our Service.... when I thought of him... there was like a "gray smudge of energy". It wasn't like when you think of someone living here for certain. So, on that level, just something I noted. Life is precious. |

I am completely saddened by this news. Fenton always asked such wonderful questions, and I really enjoyed services with them. I only met him in person once or twice. He will be sorely missed here. I certainly know that he is busy having so many questions answered. I am grateful for having known him. May his memory be a blessing.♥ |

Thank you for the information about Fenton. This was shocking and it is a loss for all of us. Fenton was awesome to have on the conference calls. Recently, he spoke of his interest in the study of shamans. I had planned to ask him more about this study. I enjoyed his presence so much. He will be missed for sure.
I offer you my sincere condolences as I know how special he was to you and the Gifts of the Spirit Church. Perhaps Carl is with him. Sending love to both of them.
Peace and love, |

I’m so shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Fenton. He was a valued member. His absence will feel like a voided space, he will be greatly missed. I remember when he had the reading a few months ago. He missed his wife very much and now they’re together forever. RIP Felton and say hello to Carl. |

What a sad news. I already missed Fenton last Sunday. He always welcomes me so nicely. It makes me a sad now, to realize we will not have him - in a physical way anyhow - in your services. Thank you for informing me. Does Fenton have a family? I remember his wife passed already. He told that in July. I will remember him as a gentle man.
But I feel also he will contact you. |

I didn't have the privilege of knowing Mr. Henricksen but I extend my sympathies to you and GOTSC for your loss. How grand it was to even have him with you for these years and imagine how he'll spread the word "up there" so the many can come visit on occasion and will certainly provide support when needed.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. My guess is that Carl has already welcomed Mr. Henricksen with open arms as he knows he's been such a wonderful member of the church. |

I had the pleasure of working with Fenton over the past 5 years, and there is nobody I know that worked harder until his last days. He genuinely cared about his job, the customers and most of all the people he worked with. He treated all of his coworkers as if we were family, and I feel so lucky to have gotten to know him over the last 5 years. He made a great impact on myself and many other people, and will be greatly missed. |

I had the pleasure of working with Fenton for many years & becoming much more than just coworkers. He had such a big heart and always made sure I was doing well & loved it when I called him gramps. We shared so many funny memories, & a similar sense of humor & he always had the funniest & insightful stories to tell. I will miss his smiling face & I know that he is spreading his joyful spirit & has already made the angel world so much sweeter ♥ love Ashley |

I am deeply saddened to hear about Fenton. I had the pleasure of working and becoming friends with Fenton over the past couple years. We would talk about superhero shows and different authors we enjoyed like Lee Child and James Patterson. Fenton was fascinated about afterlife and the spirit world. My hope is that he is now able to communicate with the people he wanted to most. I will miss you dearly friend. Love Troy |
