To say that Carl Hewitt led a phenomenal life would be an understatement. He was born mediumistic, endowed with the Gifts of the Spirit, therefore, psychic phenomena were happening around him, his entire life. Psychic events even occurred before his birth, and after his death. The Diary of a Medium will chronicle the many psychic events of Carl’s life. It is our hope that his life can help others understand the working of Spirit, and the laws of psychic science.

     There are several sources for this diary. Carl tape recorded some of these stories, for me to edit, to be included in the books that we wrote. Where I have found these tapes, you will be able to hear Carl tell these stories in his own words, and in his own voice. We had also video taped some entries, which you will also be able to view. Another source is the book Healing Spirits: True Stories from 14 Spiritual Healers. Pat West-Barker and  Judith Joslow-Rodewald interviewed Carl and myself. Pat West-Barker  has graciously given me permission to quote her stories in this diary. Excerpts from Healing Spirits will be printed in red letters. Some of these stories Carl told frequently, so I have written them from my memory. I had the privilege to witness some of these stories, and I will telling them from my perspective.

  The last entries occurred after Carl transitioned into the Spiritual body. 

     Please note that after Carl left his parent’s home, he wanted to put distance between himself and his family. Therefore, he changed the spelling of his last name, from Hewett to Hewitt. This is why you will see both spellings in this diary.

     These entries will not be entered chronologically on this web site, but will eventually listed chronologically in the table of contents.
