The Fox Sisters, Katie Fox, Maggie Fox, and Leah Fox were the Founders of the Modern Spiritualist Movement. Katie was the first one to break down the barrier between the Spirit  and Physical World, when she asked the rappings to mimic her, which it did. The Davenport Brothers, Ira Davenport and William Davenport followed in the Fox Sister's footsteps. They also had rappings in their house, however, communication with the Spirits began after the Fox Sisters made the breakthrough.
