Returning Jesus' Teachings to Christianity

The Christmas season has begun. People are scrambling to accomplish an endless list of tasks before Christmas day arrives. They are scrambling to buy their presents at bargain prices, writing and mailing their Christmas cards and letters, decorating their houses with Christmas trees and holiday lights, and baking their holiday treats. Then their houses must be cleaned, and finally a feast of food must be purchased, and cooked.
Many people are dismayed at all this activity, and claim that most people are not focused on the true meaning of the holiday. They want to “Put Christ Back in Christmas” or say that “Jesus is the Reason for the Season.” Personally, I feel these attitudes also miss the point. I think it is time to “return Jesus’ Teachings to Christianity."
Jesus came to the world to serve as an example as how to lead a spiritual life, in a non-spiritual world. He came to the world endowed with his entire brain functioning, which is the reason he was the only Biblical medium to perform all the Gifts of the Spirit.
Jesus clearly explained that he was a medium when he said that Spirit (the Father) was working through him and was responsible for His display of the Gifts of the Spirit. |

John 14:10 [NLT] Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I say are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.
11 Just believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or at least believe because of what you have seen me do.
12 “The truth is, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. |

Jesus did not come to the world to establish a new religion. He clearly stated that in Matthew 5:17 [NLT]: |
“Don’t misunderstand why I have come. I did not come to abolish the law of Moses or the writings of the prophets. No, I came to fulfill them. |
IIt was Jesus’ followers who established the new religion of Christianity. The new religious service consisted of Spirit communication through mediumship. Paul clearly stated in 1 Corinthians 12:1 [BECK]: |
Fellow Christians, I want you to know about the gifts of the Spirit. |
We will find Paul’s mandated a code of conduct and order for mediums working at a church service in 1 Corinthians 14:26-33 [NLT]: |
26 Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize what I am saying. When you meet, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in an unknown language, while another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must be useful to all and build them up in the Lord.
27 No more than two or three should speak in an unknown language. They must speak one at a time, and someone must be ready to interpret what they are saying.
28 But if no one is present who can interpret, they must be silent in your church meeting and speak in tongues to God privately.
29 Let two or three prophesy, and let the others evaluate what is said.
30 But if someone is prophesying and another person receives a revelation from the Lord, the one who is speaking must stop.
31 In this way, all who prophesy will have a turn to speak, one after the other, so that everyone will learn and be encouraged.
32 Remember that people who prophesy are in control of their spirit and can wait their turn.
33 For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the other churches. |

Paul wanted everyone to experience and utilize Spirit guidance. He wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-22 [NLT]: |
16 Always be joyful.
17 Keep on praying.
18 No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
19 Do not stifle the Holy Spirit.
20 Do not scoff at prophecies,
21 but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good.
22 Keep away from every kind of evil. |

Yet all of Paul’s instructions, that were so carefully been preserved in the New Testament, are totally ignored today.
In the early 300’s the course of Christianity shifted away from practicing the Gifts of the Spirit. After Constantine became emperor of both the Eastern and Western halves of the Roman Empire (which hadn’t happened in a long time), he began looking for a way to unify the vast diversity in the Empire. He thought he could use religion to do this. Therefore, he picked Christianity to become the state religion. In the year 325, Constantine convened the Council of Nicaea, to have the Church Fathers standardize the diverse religious practices and doctrines within Christianity. During this council it was decided to change Jesus from a Teacher, Medium, and Way shower to a Savior God. Suddenly Jesus’ mission in coming into the physical world was to die for the sins of humanity!
By the year 381 at the Council of Constantinople it was decided that anyone: |

“who did not accept the Catholic faith … were called heretics. All mediumship in churches was forbidden…. All mediums were put to death.”
[Findlay, Arthur. The Psychic Stream: or, The Source and Growth of the Christian faith. London: Psychic Press LTD, 1957. p. 1111-1112.] |

Next the theologians created dogmas and rituals, which completely contradicted Jesus’ teachings. This is the reason Catholics were told NOT to read the Bible, because if they read it carefully, they would discover that Jesus’ teachings would contradict church doctrine.
Here are some examples: |
Jesus taught when you pray, you should direct your prayers inward (Luke 17:21 [KJV]: For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.), which expands your aura (becoming your closet of prayer). Matthew 6:6 reads: |
But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you. |
Then Jesus specifically states that repeating the same prayer numerous times serves no purpose, if its intent is just to get God’s attention. This teaching contradicts the Catholic practice of saying the Rosary. |
“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered only by repeating their words again and again. Matthew 6:7 [KJV]. |
When people employ a mantra, repeatedly saying a phrase, their intent is to busy the physical mind, so their spiritual energy can increase. Therefore, it is a different practice than the one Jesus was referring to in Matthew 6:7.
Yet, another Catholic practice that contradicts Jesus’ direct teaching, is calling the Priest “Father.” |
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. Matthew 23:9 [KJV]. |

Communion is the act of receiving the Eucharist, which is the sacrament, which nourishes and keeps strong the soul’s supernatural life.
[O’Connel, John P. Monsignor, editor. The Holy Bible with the Confratery Text. “The Holy Eucharist” found in the section entitled The Seven Sacraments. Chicago, IL: The Catholic Press, Inc., 1965. p. 268.]
The rites of the Church, if faithfully administered proved an effective means of opposing the Devil. Attendance at Mass enabled men and women to resist temptation, if the worshipper made full use of the opportunity.
[Edwards, W. A Mediaeval Scrap-Heap London: Rivingtons, 1930. p. 141.] |
The ritual of Communion was modeled after the ceremony that Jesus conducted at the last supper. If Communion protects you from evil and the influence of Satan, the devil, then why does the Bible specifically state: |
As soon as Judas had eaten the bread, Satan entered into him. Then Jesus told him, “Hurry. Do it now.” John 13: 27 [NLT] |
If a piece of bread from the hand of Jesus, himself, could not prevent Satan from entering into Judas, then how effective would a piece of bread, or the host given by the hand of a mere priest be?
This month the Vatican instituted a new translation of the Latin Mass in all Catholic Churches, that is a more accurate English translation of the original Latin. This is new wording of what is said before a person receives communion. |
"…the English went from, 'Lord I'm not worthy to receive you', to 'Lord I'm not worthy that you should enter under my roof, which more correctly corresponds to the Latin."

Programming the thought of being unworthy into people’s minds contradicts yet another teaching of Jesus. Jesus clearly stated: |
Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your Law, I said, Ye are gods? John 10:34 [KJV] |
Jesus was quoting a psalm in the Old Testament:: |
I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. Psalms 82:6 [KJV] |
Jesus taught: if a person learned to go within and invoked the God within, that person could manifest his/her desires into his/her life. However, to achieve this, a person must have the knowingness that this WILL happen. No doubt can exist in a person’s mind. The person must KNOW that it had already manifested as soon as the desire was stated! Manifestation is an act of a “god,” one who can create his/her desires.
When the Church had people repeat they were unworthy every week, this thought became embedded in their souls. Therefore, this unworthiness became a roadblock to the manifestation process; and people became more limited, and more dependent upon the Church to communicate with God.
It is time for all of us, especially in this Christmas season, to shift Christianity back to its original position, to be aligned with Jesus’ teachings, and mediumship. To help you “unprogram unworthiness” please download “The Affirmation to Remove Unworthiness,” and begin to use it. |

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas, one filled with a clear understanding of the medium known as Jesus.
Sincerely,
